No Data Corruption & Data Integrity
What exactly does the 'No Data Corruption & Data Integrity' slogan mean to each web hosting account user?
Data corruption is the unintended modification of a file or the loss of info which usually occurs during reading or writing. The reason may be hardware or software fail, and for that reason, a file may become partially or fully corrupted, so it'll no longer work as it should since its bits shall be scrambled or missing. An image file, for example, will no longer display an authentic image, but a random combination of colors, an archive will be impossible to unpack for the reason that its content will be unreadable, and so on. If this kind of a problem appears and it is not noticed by the system or by an admin, the data will become corrupted silently and if this happens on a drive that is part of a RAID array where the data is synced between various different drives, the corrupted file shall be copied on all other drives and the harm will become long term. Numerous frequently used file systems either don't offer real-time checks or don't have good ones that can detect a problem before the damage is done, so silent data corruption is a very common matter on web hosting servers where substantial volumes of info are stored.

No Data Corruption & Data Integrity in Cloud Hosting
We warrant the integrity of the information uploaded in any
cloud hosting account that is generated on our cloud platform since we use the advanced ZFS file system. The latter is the only one which was designed to avert silent data corruption via a unique checksum for each file. We'll store your information on a large number of SSD drives which function in a RAID, so the same files will be present on several places concurrently. ZFS checks the digital fingerprint of all files on all of the drives in real time and if the checksum of any file differs from what it should be, the file system replaces that file with an undamaged copy from a different drive inside the RAID. There's no other file system that uses checksums, so it's possible for data to become silently corrupted and the bad file to be replicated on all drives with time, but since that can never happen on a server running ZFS, you do not have to worry about the integrity of your info.

No Data Corruption & Data Integrity in Semi-dedicated Servers
We've avoided any chance of files getting damaged silently because the servers where your
semi-dedicated server account will be created employ a powerful file system known as ZFS. Its advantage over various other file systems is that it uses a unique checksum for each file - a digital fingerprint that is checked in real time. Since we store all content on a number of SSD drives, ZFS checks if the fingerprint of a file on one drive matches the one on the remaining drives and the one it has stored. In case there's a mismatch, the damaged copy is replaced with a healthy one from one of the other drives and since it happens in real time, there is no chance that a corrupted copy can remain on our web hosting servers or that it could be copied to the other drives in the RAID. None of the other file systems work with this kind of checks and furthermore, even during a file system check after an unexpected power failure, none of them will discover silently corrupted files. In comparison, ZFS won't crash after an electrical power failure and the regular checksum monitoring makes a lenghty file system check obsolete.
